Documenting the effects of climate change and other human impacts on the world around us
Humans are producing unprecedented changes to the Earth system as a whole. Overpopulation and climate change, human greed and over-exploitation of natural resources -- all are acting in concert and creating an environmental crisis that potentially threatens our survival as a species. What exactly are we doing to our selves? Our society? Our planet? How do we know?
Answering these sorts of questions is the focus of this blog. The main item of business is creating a living, real-time record of climate change impacts as they are observed and reported. Other natural or human-induced climate drivers are also fair game. Both media sources and scientific papers are open for discussion.
